Description:
Dental Girl is a dental distribution company with a line of spa and esthetics products aimed at making the Dental Girl’s life easier. The Dental Girl in your office might be your RDH, EFDA, your dental assistant, your office manager, implant coordinator or receptionist. We provide products in our boutique line of customized rhinestone tees and bags that are meant to create a fun, flirty, sorority kind-of-feel to this segment of the dental market. Our aim is to appeal to the women in the dental profession – probably more at the hygiene than professional dentist level. We have a line of products – clothing, personal care, tools, even things like cosmetics-that is focused on the challenges that the dental hygienist faces every day – a one-stop shop for her, branded for her, making her feel important, feminine, flirty etc. We believe that the brand Dental Girl could be one that a lot of dental hygienists would really like, and the idea of being catered to and pampered with a product line very much designed for them. The boutique line of clothing was visualized to create a sort of "sorority" of Dental Girls who are fun, flirty and fabulous, proudly wearing the Dental Girl logo in rhinestone tees and bags. The anti-anxiety CD’s will make their experience with patients easier and can be used by the Dental Girl staff members themselves to make create spa-type relaxation after a hectic day of caring for patients and nurturing their own families. The anti-bacterial scrubs will make Dental Girls feel safer, drier and more comfortable during their hectic day while protecting them from MRSA, staff or other infections. The Dental Girl brand will attract the RDH, EFDA and staff members to ask their doctor to buy products that are perceived as making the practice sexy, fun, state-of-the-art, and very spa-like. If he wants to "indulge" his Dental Girl so that she is happy, he gets what she wants and it makes his practice and his day that much easier. So, in definition, the Dental Girl market appeals to the female staff, making her day easier and providing products she values and enjoys using so much that she shares them with her patients, selling to them through her personal recommendation rather than obligation, as well as to the clinican who wishes to indulge his female staff.
The Surgical division of Dental Girl will be known as DG Surgical (i.e. DG stands for Dental Girl). This division will boost a more masculine logo and tagline (…solutions for discerning surgeons), which will not have the hot pink tooth, but will be all white and black with a white tooth. The DG Surgical line will feature surgical dental instruments as well as adjuncts for the office related to dental surgical procedures. By disassociating with the feminine image of Dental Girl, we plan to create a more serious, masculine-oriented division in line with the specialists who will purchase these items to appeal to a more haughty clientele. This line can sold simultaneously with the Dental Girl line at shows as “sister companies” or we can sell only the DG Surgical line at a course which is more surgically-oriented so that the doctors are not deterred by the Dental Girl name.
